Bulk Domain
Name Locking / Unlocking
Licosys Technology Company provides you the unique feature
of Bulk Locking apart from locking individual domain
names, which will allow you to Lock multiple domain
names (except .ME, .EU, .UK and .ASIA domain names) at a
single go.
Domain name Locking is a crucial security feature as it
prevents domain names from being transferred away to
other Registrars, without it being explicitly removed.
Placing a Lock has the following effects on your domain
name:
A. The Contact
Details and Name Servers of such a domain name can not
be modified in this
state
B. A Transfer
[Away] Request for this domain name to another Registrar
will fail at the
Registry itself and will not be allowed
C. An internal
Move of this domain name (to another Customer Account)
would not be
possible in this state
Follow the below mentioned steps to Lock / Unlock domain
names:
Step 1. Login to your
Domain Management Control Panel
Step 2. Go to Domains
-> Domain Registration -> Bulk Actions -> Bulk
Lock/Unlock
Step 3. Enter the
Order Ids/Domain names that you wish to lock/unlock
Step 4. Click on Lock
Orders or Unlock Orders as the case may be
IMPORTANT
NOTE
.EU/.UK domain names do not support locking. Hence you can
not lock a .EU/.UK domain name.
Once you have submitted a Bulk Lock/Unlock request, our
system would execute the same in the next 2 hours time.
